There’s no denying that great feeling of relaxation and overall well being, both physical and mental, after a session with your favourite massage therapist…. our dogs can experience all the same benefits!!

Besides the obvious relaxation and lowered stress levels that come with regular massage, there’s many physical benefits of regular massage. They include increased joint mobilization and range of motion, increased stride length, increased stamina, increased muscle tone, increased flexibility, increased energy and circulation, increased immune function, increased lymphatic drainage, decreased risk of injury, decreased pain and muscle tension, decreased inflammation, and decreased age related mobility issues. While the list is endless, any of these positive changes add up and contribute to a happier and healthier dog!!

I’m a Level 1 Caninology®️ certified bodyworker with a lifelong love of dogs.
The RACE approved Caninology ®️ Approach provides a combination of sports massage, soft tissue mobilization, range of motion exercises, stretching, muscle activation, focal point work, and core strengthening exercises. I provide both static and dynamic assessments prior to a first session, and document my work to share with other team members, such as your veterinarian and trainer.

Body work and other modalities are great additions to your dog's wellness program, but can never replace proper veterinary care.
