En cette belle journée de printemps, j’ai pris le temps d’aller marcher un peu avant mes séances de l’après-midi. Un petit rappel de l’importance de prendre soin de sa santé mentale, de bouger et de profiter de l’air frais. 🌼☀️

Je suis travailleuse sociale et j’offre mes services en anglais et en français. Je suis parfaitement bilingue et j’ai complété l’ensemble de mes études en français de la maternelle jusqu’à l’université.

Si vous recherchez un espace sécuritaire pour vous exprimer dans votre langue, je suis là pour vous accompagner.

What counselling may seem like vs. what it truly is. 🧊

From the outside, counselling can seem like just “talking about your problems,” but beneath the surface, there’s so much more happening.

Counselling is:
- Building self-awareness
- Learning tools to manage stress, anxiety and emotions
- Processing past experiences at your own pace
- Strengthening relationships and communication
- Creating meaningful & lasting change
- Feeling heard, supported and understood
- And so much more!

What a wonderful afternoon at the Women’s High Tea event held at the Best Western celebrating the amazing women of Cornwall and SD&G!

It was such a lovely event filled with inspiring speakers, delicious treats and of course plenty of tea. Events like this are such a great reminder of how strong, supportive and inspiring our community of women truly is.

I had the pleasure of being there alongside Dr. Draper from Spine Care Plus. It was so nice to see so many wonderful women I already knew, while also having the chance to meet many amazing new women. I truly hope our paths cross again soon!

Thank you to the organizers for putting together such a beautiful event that brings women in our community together. Happy early international women’s day! 💕🫖🎀👗💐

I’m so grateful to have been part of the Youth Engagement Fair tonight at the Benson Centre!

It was wonderful connecting with youth, families and other community members and sharing more about Cornwall Counselling & Support Services. I always appreciate the chance to answer questions and talk about the importance of accessible mental health support for people in our community.

You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy.

Therapy is also for:
• High-functioning anxiety
• Feeling stuck, even when you can’t explain why
• Relationship patterns you’re ready to break
• Burnout that no vacation seems to fix
• A deeper desire to understand yourself

You’re allowed to want support, even if everything ‘’looks fine’’ from the outside.

🔹 This high-energy, interactive event is designed to connect youth (ages 11–17) with local organizations, services, and opportunities that support their well-being, interests, and future goals.

🎟️ A fun passport challenge that encourages youth to visit exhibitor booths and learn about available programs – with prizes to be won! 🏆

👥 While our target audience is youth aged 11–17, attendance is open to all. Please note that prizes will be reserved for youth between the ages of 11 and 17.
