Osteoporosis develops over time as bone density decreases. The journey often looks like this:

1️⃣ Normal Bone Density – bone growth and breakdown are balanced.
2️⃣ Osteopenia – bone loss starts to outpace bone growth.
3️⃣ Osteoporosis – bone loss becomes significant, raising the risk of fractures.
4️⃣ Severe Osteoporosis – bones become very weak and may cause noticeable changes in posture or shape.
