Earth Day is a reminder of something Indigenous Peoples have always known: we are not separate from the land.

The health of the forests, the waters, the wildlife — it is all connected to our own. These relationships carry responsibility. They ask us to care, to listen, and to act with intention.

Across the country, Indigenous Nations continue to lead that work every day: protecting ecosystems, sustaining biodiversity, and carrying forward the ancestral ecological knowledge of our People.

Today, and every day, we honour Mother Earth, the leadership, and the relationships that make life on this planet possible. 🌎
