I woke up today with the burn of determination inside me.
Sure I could've hit snooze and went back to bed.
I don't HAVE to workout, I GET to workout!
Nobody was there to push me out of bed, get on my workout gear, gather my weights and press play on my workout. I can only push myself!

Monday set the tone for the rest of the week.
Let's hope that in my case that's NOT what happens this week.
Today started off rocky with sleeping in and I swear dropping everything I picked up.
But I took it one step at a time and after all the craziness I took the girls and neighbor kids for a walk.

Last weekend we gathered!

We came together and although I had barely known most of these beauties and never met before the vibe that filled this room was incredible.

We laughed, we cried, we shared and to top it off we had an amazing yoga session to stretch and relax our bodies. It was THE perfect way to end the week!

This was exactly what I needed and have been thinking of ideas of how we can all come together on a more regular basis.

Food for thought.

What we put inside our bodies has so much affect on our bodies.

We fuel our bodies with things like oatmeal, bananas and yogurt to get energy.

Or beans, broccoli and raspberries to help with digestion.

Or dark chocolate, blueberries and Kale for antioxidants to protect us.

Be mindful of what you put in your body and how it makes you feel.

Whether it be your final goal weight, or a certain lbs down, or even achieving your goal of healthy eating for a certain amount of time?
You are going to deserve to treat yourself to something!
Once I hit my goal weight I'm treating myself to a pedicure and a pair of Lululemon pants that AREN'T black!
