I am a private holistic nutrition practice with a whole foods and a non-diet approach to health and wellness:
I specialize in weight management and gut health (IBS).
The holistic approach recognizes the interrelationship of mind, body and spirit; and the importance of addressing these interactive factors. It is creating a balance where imbalances exist. Acknowledging that everybody’s biochemistry is different and that each individual requires distinctive needs.
My Approach
I strongly promote the integration of both the body and mind in order to create lasting lifestyle changes. My approach to wellness focuses greatly on a combination of foods to support weight management with some special attention to gut integrity. Maintaining optimal gut health is necessary because you are not just what you eat, you are what your body can digest and absorb!
Together We Will
Learn the differentiating foods that balance and support your body. We will take a closer look at what's worked for you in the past and what hasn't. I will hold you accountable as we implement new strategies and actionable steps. Together, I will get you on the right track to losing weight, increasing energy and feeling strong!

My Personal Story
My passion for fitness and health started well over 10 years ago. I love to constantly challenge my body, and eat well to support it. Our level of health (generally) is a reflection of our lifestyle and habits. Having pre-existing chronic illnesses run in my family (Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and heart conditions) my goal has always been prevention and adopting healthy habits to live free of illness.
How I embarked on my personal wellness journey & what has led me to pursue this career path?
Ever since I was very young, I have always had a sensitive stomach. Throughout the years, I’ve dealt with some uncomfortable symptoms but nothing that would cause concern. During my time in university (2011), I began to notice that I wasn’t feeling all that well. I developed severe stomach issues with an unknown cause at the time (major trigger: stress!). I went from feeling strong and unstoppable in my early 20's to not so amazing. I began to lose weight at a rapid and unhealthy pace. My health snowballed from that point on. Digestive problems, weight loss, hormonal imbalances (amenorrhea, adrenal fatigue, acne, hair loss) on top of anxiety, stress, and lack of sleep. It wasn’t until the pain and symptoms became so intolerable that I bit the bullet and got professional help.
After months of tests and seeing different doctors, I was simply diagnosed with a lazy small intestine and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). A catch-all term when there is no other physical cause for your symptoms. What now? ‘’Deal with it. You’re going to have it the rest of your life’’. Discouraged and desperate, I walked away thinking this can't be it. Needless to say, I took matters into my own hands, 100% dedication to myself. Through the years, I have found what has clicked for me and am happy and healthy today.
Along this journey, I’ve become passionate about food and its impact on our bodies. I began studying nutrition in 2013. I now teach and help people manage their weight long term by ditching their ideologies of what they think they ‘’should be eating’’ and teaching what they actually need in order to flourish. Diet-culture and restrictive habits are out. I also reinforce the importance of maintaining gut integrity as an integral part of their health and wellness.
