Long before identity forms, life is already moving through vast chains of cause and effect.

Conditions give rise to conditions.
Responses emerge from earlier responses.

Yet awareness often sees only a small section of this movement.

A moment.
A reaction.
A visible outcome.

And from this partial view, conclusions begin to form.

Orientation appears.
Opinions strengthen.
Identity organizes around what is seen.

In this way, one part of the chain becomes overemphasized, while countless other conditions disappear from view.

This creates both over-focus and under-focus, not because the mind intends distortion, but because it mistakes a fragment for the whole.

True seeing is not the possession of the correct fragment.

It is the recognition that the chain extends far beyond what is immediately visible.

Coherence is the absence of unnecessary interference.
Interference creates additional waves that must resolve.

Curiosity, however, does not interfere.
It stays close to what is, allowing it to unfold and complete.

Instruction can guide, but it can also limit when it replaces direct seeing.
Curiosity invites a question to live fully,
until the answer is revealed from within the same conditions that gave rise to it.

A clean palate does not seek to change what arises.
It receives, sees, and allows completion.
