Foot care is an essential service. As other businesses face closures due to the pandemic, we remain available to meet your needs. Whether you have diabetes, pain from ingrown nails, corns, calluses or simply can't perform self foot care, you can access care. We take many safety precautions, including wearing appropriate PPE, being tested for COVID-19 weekly and screening ourselves and all clients. Please contact us for any information.

This past week while providing foot care, I came across someone with onycholysis. Since this is a common condition of the nail, I thought it might be useful to share some information about it.

Onycholysis that occurs at the root of the nail, will need to be carefully looked after until the nail regrows. In the case of a toe nail, this may take up to 18 months.

We now offer direct billing to Medavie Blue Cross for foot care treatment for qualified Veterans.
What does this mean for you? As a veteran, your foot care treatment is provided free of cost. We submit an invoice to the insurance company on your behalf.
