Well the first 7:00 pm yoga class in Edgerton is in the books. It was nice to see everyone and felt great to get back into the stretch of things!!

We start our first 10:00 am yoga class on this Thursday. There is still room in this morning class if you would like to sign up. This class finishes up May 15th. Message me if you are interested.

Hoping there is more that would like to sign up for yoga classes in Edgerton. There is still a couple of spots available. Classes will begin on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Hi friends, just a quick note, yoga classes will not be starting tomorrow. I am going to start the yoga classes on March 27th, 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. These classes will be offered in Edgerton. Yoga is a great way to get ready for the golf season! Yes… hard to believe but soon we will be on the golf course enjoying the warm weather. The upcoming yoga classes (see my previous post for class details) help build balance flexibility and stretching. Exactly what you might need to enhance your golf swing and overall golfing experience. Something to consider!! Sign up and give Yoga a try.

Yoga spring 2025:
Hi Edgerton and surrounding communities, it’s time to think YOGA!! Classes are coming back and will be held in Edgerton!! I am a certified Yoga instructor and I am planning on running two six week Yin (gentle) yoga classes focusing on balance/stretching/flexibility and relaxation. The classes will be on Thursdays, one at 10:00 am and the second class at 7:00 pm. First (tentative) classes to start on March 20, 2025. The class will be taught in Edgerton and I will be charging $80 for the six week class. If you would like to sign up, or if you have any questions regarding the class, message me through my page at Sharon Guy Art and Yoga or comment to this post. (please state which class you would like to attend). I will be in contact to those that respond. I only take 10 participants per class, once it’s full I will start a waiting list. So if you want in, please don’t delay in responding. Thank you.

Well I am participating in this Battle of the Brushes tonight. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun! If you are looking for something different to do tonight. Come on out!

Tonight, during the Battle of the Brushes, the ARTIST contestants will receive one 18x24 canvas, an easel, and acrylic paints in basic colours. They have been advised to bring their own brushes or other painting implements, drawing implements, and reference material for what they are going to paint. The event will be in two 45 minute speed painting rounds.

YOU, as the audience, can enjoy music, food and beverage (for purchase) and intermingle and engage with the contestants while they paint!

Perhaps a few fun twists as we go and after 90 mins = brushes down!

Don’t forget you may be able to purchase these pieces if the artist chooses to sell.

Doors open at the Wainwright Legion at 630 pm, event starts at 7pm. $10 cover charge at the door. See you there!

Hey fb friends,
Head on over to the Edgerton Alberta page, to check out the Craft Auction the library is doing. There’s baking, seasonal decor, jewelry, art, (I might have a couple pieces of art in it), a doll cradle with bedding, a wine basket … make a bid on some great stuff! It’s all donated. Have some fun checking it out!
