Belonging is a sense of feeling seen, feeling known, feeling loved, feeling safe. And when are experiencing emotional pain, our sense of belonging can feel rocked. So of course, finding connection with others during emotional pain can help restore that sense of belonging. I truly believe that one of the most powerful forms of love we have to share with on another when we are struggling is the "me too" or "you are not alone" love - it's absolutely priceless and so incredible healing 🥰
