At the end of the day, doesn't everyone just want to be understood?🧠

Did you know around 1 in 4 Canadians will experience anxiety at some point in their life? Anxiety doesn’t always look the way people think it does.
Sometimes it looks like:

• cancelling plans you were excited for
• staying busy 24/7 so your brain doesn’t start free trialing doom
• being “the funny friend” while internally buffering
• not being able to go to the grocery store because your panic attacks are so overwhelming
• having your chest feel tight for so long that you forget what relaxed feels like

Everyone experiences anxiety differently. Some people use therapy. Some people use medication. Some people dance around their kitchen at 11pm to emotionally recover. Some people use cold water, grounding techniques, exposure therapy, journaling, breathing exercises, colouring, or all the above.

There is no “correct” way to cope.

Anxiety is kinda like having 47 tabs open in your brain and one of them is playing ominous music at full volume while another one is googling “what if everything goes horribly wrong” 😭

Our books and journals are there if they help you.
But they do not HAVE to be your thing.

This page is a place for support, coping tools, relatable content, education, and reminders that you’re not weird or broken for struggling sometimes.

Whatever helps you feel safe, grounded, and human again matters.

-Your younger self would be proud of you. They would also think your current comfort drink/snack combo is the peak of human success actually.

-being soft in a hard world is actually kind of punk

-normalize leaving situations where your nervous system starts acting like a chihuahua in a walmart parking lot.
