You can find Inner Haven Counselling at this month's Neurospicy Market 🧠🌶️ on June 29-30.

At Inner Haven Counselling, we offer counselling for people interested in exploring their differences. We work with neurodivergent people (Autism, ADHD, etc.), Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), parents of high-needs children, 2SLGBTQIA+ people, and anyone else who struggles with feeling different. Our counsellor, Amélie is neuro-affirming and she focuses on helping people recognize and celebrate who they are. We provide affordable counselling in an online format, and offer a sliding scale for those who need it.

Come connect with Amelie, and many more neurodivergent creators in a sensory friendly environment at Mill Woods Town Centre.

Please like, comment, and share to show your support. 🙏🏻❤️

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you have been enjoying a peaceful and beautiful holiday season!

Have you set New Year's Resolutions this year? While setting resolutions seems like "the thing to do," for many Highly Sensitive and neurodivergent people, it can be a triggering subject. Goal setting is entrenched in our culture and is even a defining feature of most therapy. We are given the impression that it is something that should be easy! But for some of us, creating resolutions or setting goals can bring up demand avoidance, fears of change or failure, hopelessness or many other challenging feelings. If you struggle with goal setting or moving towards goals, we can address these issues in therapy to collaboratively come up with something that works for you.

What are your feelings about New Year's Resolutions and goal setting?
