Living in a cold climate, I don't get the option of having fresh ripened fruit year-round. We can't even grow most of these in Alberta. and let me be honest I am not going to eat a prune or date willingly. I can guarantee the kids won't. 2 capsules a day for me and 2 chewies for the kids and we get the benefit of all these nutrients we would otherwise miss.
