I've been practicing massage therapy in the Edmonton since June 2002, after graduating from the Massage Therapy program at Grant MacEwan University. I am practicing at a physiotherapy clinic in the west end of Edmonton, full time through Monday and Friday, but will have modified hours over the summer:
Coronation Physiotherapy

I have taken various courses for assessing and helping musculoskeletal dysfunctions, trained to apply Gary Schweitzer’s techniques of Deep Tissue Therapy, as well as being able to give relaxation massage in the traditional Swedish style. I have worked with some elite level athletes - from the National Hockey League, Canadian Football League as well as the Canadian national Men’s B Rugby team - but most of my experience is with the general public. I have extensive experience working with those suffering Motor Vehicle Accidents and sports injuries, as well as chronic pain issues and syndromes such as Fibromyalgia. I have volunteered my time and skills to provide massage therapy for athletes competing in the Canadian Masters Swimming Competitions in 2004, and the athletes competing in the swimming and athletics portions of the World Masters Games, held in Edmonton in the summer of 2005. I also volunteer my time for other competitions from time to time through the metro Edmonton area. I have also worked with a chiropractor, but my first massage therapy position was for guests and members of the Health Club at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton. From working in this 5 star hotel, I saw how clients valued competency and results, and I have taken this knowledge with me while coordinating health care with others throughout my career. Clients can look forward to a balanced plan to help them with any injuries they may be dealing with, or to a comfortable relaxation massage if they wish.
