So let’s start here… 💗

Have you ever had the thought:
“I’m not allowed to feel good…
because I haven’t done what I needed to do.”

I hear this all the time.

But feeling good isn’t a reward for productivity.
It’s a nervous system state that makes consistency possible.

From a movement perspective, when you allow yourself to feel good first —
your routine becomes easier.
More sustainable.
Less forced.

Nothing is wrong with you.

What if feeling good wasn’t something you had to earn? 💗✨

As the Olympics wrapped up, I kept thinking about something.

It wasn’t just the medals.

It was the stands.

The parents.
The partners.
The coaches.
The teammates.

No one got there alone.

And it reminded me of something I see all the time in my work:

Most people try to take care of their health alone.

They restart.
They push.
They fall off.
They blame themselves.

But research consistently shows that social support is one of the strongest predictors of long-term physical activity.

Connection builds consistency.

So here’s the question I’ve been sitting with:

Who’s on your team?

Who supports your movement — especially on the days you don’t feel like it?

In this week’s blog, I reflected on what the Olympics revealed about all of us… and why building your movement community might be the missing piece 💗

And yes — Mindful Movement is Buy One, Get One Free until the end of February.

Bring someone with you.

Read the full reflection here:

Calm is easier in company.

When we move in community, something shifts.
Consistency feels lighter.
Confidence builds more naturally.

I wrote more about this — and how Mindful Movement works — in this week’s blog.

💗 Valentine’s month = Buy One, Bring One Free.

Read it here:

Independence matters. But so does connection. This week I shared a short video on Instagram (and Youtube) about how movement changes when we share it with someone else.

Running on empty by mid-week?

That drained feeling isn’t a character flaw.
It’s often what happens when we live in constant “doing” mode.

When your nervous system stays switched on…
your energy drops.
your shoulders tighten.
your patience shortens.

This first video in my Mindful Movement series explores why that happens — and what you can do to begin reconnecting with your body again.

Start by watching.
Notice what resonates.
Then give yourself permission to slow down.

And if you’re ready for deeper weekly support, my Self-Love BOGO is happening right now — join Mindful Movement and gift a month to someone you care about.

Because caring for yourself is not indulgent. It’s essential. 💗

By Wednesday…
Are you already tired?

Snappy.
Tight through your shoulders.
Mentally foggy.

You’re not broken. And it’s not a willpower issue.

The first video in my new Mindful Movement series talks about why so many of us feel overwhelmed and emotionally drained by mid-week — and what’s actually happening in your nervous system.

If you’ve been on autopilot, juggling everything for everyone else, this video will help you make sense of it.

Watch it.

Then notice what shifts just by understanding your body differently.

And if it feels like something you need more of, my Self-Love BOGO is happening right now — join Mindful Movement and gift a month to someone you care about.

Because slowing down is a form of strength. 💗

It’s not just about the moves — it’s about the connections.

I see this all the time.

People don’t stay consistent because they push harder.

They stay consistent because they feel supported.

Movement is a conversation with your body.

Community makes that conversation feel safer.

You’re not alone in this.

If you’re looking for guided movement and real connection, you might consider joining us inside The MedFit Movement Studio. We can explore this together.

When weight changes quickly, muscle health matters more than ever.

GLP-1 medications can be effective for weight loss — but they don’t build strength, preserve muscle, or support long-term function.

That’s where exercise comes in.

I wrote about why muscle health deserves a seat at the table in the GLP-1 conversation — especially for long-term confidence and independence.

👇

If you’re like me, you may be noticing more and more conversations about GLP-1s in your media feed, your social circles, and even major advertising campaigns. These medications—originally...
