👏 Congrats to Mike Petryk School of Dentistry researchers Prasanna Neelakantan, and Khaled Altabtbaei. They are among the six projects at the U of A that is each receiving a $250,000 grant from the federal New Frontiers in Research Fund.

The survey gathers feedback on the draft Practice Domains and Practice Readiness Factors developed during the first phase of the Program Approval Review project.

The survey closes on May 25, 2026. We encourage you to share this survey with dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, employers, administrative staff, and other members of your dental team.

A comprehensive new study tracking participants for over 80 years has found no link between fluoride in drinking water and lower IQ or brain function. This reinforces what dentists have known for decades: community fluoride a safe, effective, and fair way to prevent tooth decay and improve oral health for Albertans.
