Healing is not about fixing yourself.
It is about learning how to care for the parts of you that learned to survive through pain.
For so many years, I thought healing meant becoming someone different.
Stronger. Better. Less emotional. Less affected.
What I’ve come to understand through my own journey — and through the work of Exponential Joy — is that healing is actually about returning to yourself with compassion.
It is about nurturing the parts of you that learned to protect, perform, people-please, overwork, disconnect, or stay small simply to survive.
Those parts are not flaws.
They are evidence of resilience.
This week on The Pathway To Choose Joy Method podcast, I’m sharing a deeply heartfelt conversation:
Nurturing the Parts That Hurt
We explore how true healing begins when we stop judging ourselves and start creating enough safety within to lovingly reconnect with the wounded places asking for our attention.
This is the heart of Exponential Joy.
Not bypassing pain.
Not pretending everything is okay.
But learning to meet yourself with tenderness, grace, and courage so healing can unfold naturally.
Joy expands when compassion leads.
The moment we nurture what hurts, we create the space for transformation.
That is how healing becomes exponential.
I would love for you to listen, reflect, and share what resonates.
Together, we rise.
Together, we heal.
Together, we choose joy.
