All humans are worthy, and how one contributes can be in many different ways.

For starters, he already does. He has a job! He’s also volunteered at his local animal shelter, and he works very hard on his social media. But more importantly, it wouldn’t matter if he didn’t! My son is autistic. He has high needs. His worth has nothing to do with employment. His value is not something he has to earn. He already contributes, through his kindness, his honesty, his perspective, and his presence.
Am I proud that he’s found work that accommodates his needs? Of course, but I’d be just as proud if he didn’t. His existence would still be enough.🥰
