Every once in a while, or like every day, as a maker of anything really, we question well, everything. I find myself questioning lately, “are my candles good enough?” I truly believe the answer is yes. My candles are made with pure beeswax that is not over processed and comes from one singular honey farm. I add coconut wax or coconut oil because beeswax is very hard and it tends to crack and the coconut oil or wax helps to soften it and help the candle burn more evenly. People have reached out and asked me if my coconut wax is pure or if there is any additives in it like soy wax or paraffin wax. There is not. It is pure coconut. Also, I only use essential oils as fragrance. Some people might tell you that candles with essential oils are not as fragrant as candles that are scented with fragrance oil. Those people would not be wrong. However, I use essential oils because they are natural, they have therapeutic benefits, and they are nontoxic, the ones I use anyway. I started making my own candles because there was nothing on the market that suited my needs and desires for the perfect candle. Anyway, if you would like to try the perfect candle, then please try one of mine. If you don’t like it, that’s fine too, but I would love to hear why.
Also, what is your preference on labels? I love the look of each of my jars without a label. However, sometimes the label is the whole vibe. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
