We are currently in the middle of the Lion’s Gate timeline—what we also call Hochsummer in Switzerland—a period when the sun is at its strongest. Here in Ontario, it often brings high temperatures, the grass turning brown, and a vibrant yet peaceful energy in the air. This is a time of heightened inspiration, excitement, and inner peace as we soak in the high vibes of the season.
It truly feels like a magical time, and I hope you are enjoying it to the fullest. Personally, I often find myself feeling tired and in need of a nap during the day. I believe this is my body and mind integrating the powerful energies available now, as well as preparing for what is yet to come.
Summer, to me, is a season of transformation. We absorb the healing and transformative energy of the sun, while planetary alignments support our growth and evolution.
also pulled a card for you today—and funnily enough, it’s one that caught my attention just the other day: the Two of Cups (see image below).
When the Two of Cups appears, it often signals a time to connect or collaborate with another person, meeting them where they are and engaging with emotional maturity and understanding. You might have recently met someone and are wondering if they are right for you, or perhaps you’re working on a project or business and need support. This card reminds us that collaboration makes us more powerful and resourceful.
The open cups symbolize both giving and receiving—allow yourself to accept the love, help, and gifts being offered to you, whether through a partnership or joint effort. The lion on the card represents divine protection, while the caduceus speaks to health and nurturing. Sometimes, the Two of Cups can point to marriage, engagement, a soulmate connection, or even a spiritual awakening sparked by a relationship.
Relationships—whether romantic, platonic, or professional—teach us invaluable lessons. They help us grow, mature, compromise, and adapt. We learn just as much about ourselves as we do about the other person, and these lessons serve us well for the future.
