This weekend was a powerful and hope-filled time for the Village of Hope in Eston.

Austin Miller & Alex Parsons had an incredible experience at the Battle for Recovery conference in Lloydminster. It was impactful to hear real testimonies of lives being changed and to connect with others who are passionate about recovery and restoration.

Following the conference, we joined Prince Albert Bridge Ministries for a church outreach, continuing to share the message of hope and new life. We then had the opportunity to visit the Prince Albert Penitentiary, where we spoke in two chapels and shared about the Village of Hope with the men—reminding them that no matter their past, a new beginning is always possible.

We believe that through faith, support, and commitment, lives can be transformed. There is always hope, and a new life is within reach.

A big congratulations to Village of Hope Eston's first ever SLT grad, Toby! The 12 month Internship program is a challenging one, but we are so thankful God lead him through it and is now keeping him on for full-time staff training. We can't wait to see how God leads you next, Toby! Proud of you!

Yesterday was an awesome day of celebration and appreciation. Thanks to everyone who made it special.

🌱 Village of Hope Eston Needs Your Help with Our Garden Project! 🌱

Hey Eston and surrounding community friends!
At Village of Hope, our guys are working hard on building and expanding our raised garden boxes to grow fresh veggies this season. It's all part of learning life skills, staying active, and producing good food for our program and meals.
We're short on materials and looking for any donations of:
• Scrap lengths of wood (2x4s, 2x6s, pallets, boards any clean, treated or untreated wood works great!)
• Other suitable materials for building/repairing garden boxes (like screws, brackets if you have extras)

If you have any wood scraps lying around from projects, renovations, or just extras in the garage/shed, we'd be incredibly grateful for your donation! It would make a real difference in helping our students grow their own food and build something meaningful.
We can arrange drop-offs at our location or pick up the materials, whatever works best for you! Just let us know.

Witness the incredible transformation at Village of Hope in Eston! Dan Cole, once a student battling addiction, was lifted by Jesus from deep despair, pain, dysfunction, and resentment into a life of purpose and influence.
Now transitioning from Baker to Director's Assistant, Dan is teaching from the Regeneration Workbook, guiding men toward healing through Christ. He shares this simple, powerful truth:
"The most challenging thing a person can do is look inward... I have to admit I'm the problem not everyone else... The only way to experience freedom is to be honest with yourself."
Dan's story reminds us: no pit is too deep for God's love to pull us out and turn brokenness into hope for others.
Through Village of Hope's faith-based program, lives are renewed every day.

What a blessing to join the wonderful family at Stoughton Apostolic Church! We were so grateful for the opportunity to speak at your service and share from our hearts.

Thank you, Pastor Zach Sloane and Jen, for the warm welcome. Hosting us for a delicious supper and leading such a powerful prayer meeting the evening before church. We felt the presence of the Lord so strongly as we joined in fellowship during the potluck, sharing testimonies, laughter, and encouragement around the table. It truly reminded us of the beauty of the body of Christ coming together in unity and love (Psalm 133:1).

We are deeply thankful for your continued prayers and support for the Village of Hope and the men we serve. May the Lord richly bless your church family, multiply the harvest of your kindness and continue to use you mightily for His glory!

Thank you to Ryan Norheim for the warm welcome and great tour at The Mustard Seed in Medicine Hat!
We were blessed to visit and share our testimonies. The men and women there were genuinely excited to hear about the next steps available after graduation: options for 2nd Phase living accommodations to build stability, or Servant Leadership Training to deepen faith and serve others.
Ryan and the team are doing vital, life changing work offering real hope and pathways forward through Jesus. Grateful for the hospitality, connections, and treats!
Keep shining that light in Medicine Hat!

Such an encouraging day at the Saskatchewan Recovery Summit in Regina on February 26! Alex and Kyle Parsons from Village of Hope Eston were thrilled to join nearly 700 advocates, professionals, and people in recovery all united in the fight against addiction. Connecting with others in this battle reminded us that hope grows stronger when we come together. Grateful for opportunities like this to build recovery capital across Saskatchewan.

Happy 18th Anniversary, Village of Hope Canada
What a beautiful 18 years of God’s faithfulness, healing, and life change!
Today, four of our dedicated leaders at Village of Hope Eston want to give a huge shoutout of thanks to Andrew Vähi for his bold step of faith, heading into the woods with a chainsaw and a prayer, trusting God to start something miraculous. From those humble beginnings, God has grown this ministry to heal countless wounds, restore broken lives, and bring true freedom through Christ.
These leaders found their own recovery and purpose right here through a personal encounter with Jesus. Proof that He transforms hearts and calls us to serve others.
We’re deeply grateful for every testimony, restored family, and miracle over these 18 years. God is still moving powerfully!
