Elissa has lived all over BC and southern Alberta before she finally settled down in her hometown of
Sparwood BC. In 2010, after a struggling with weight and body image for all her teens and early 20’s, she decided to make a change. Unfortunately, with the mass amounts of misinformation out there she
found herself on the other end of the spectrum, severely undereating and over exercising. She started diving into exercise and diet for health and performance. During this time, she fell in love with the human body and how much it was capable of. Knowing how hard it is to navigate exercise and nutrition alone she became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM in 2018. After a few years training clients, she realized how many others have the same struggle she did. By obtaining a nutrition certification she would be able to help others even more. So, in 2024, through NCI, she did just that. Elissa loves spending time with her family and friends, especially outdoors. Helping others and seeing
them succeed is one of the things that she enjoys most. Her aim is to support clients with compassion,
understanding, knowledge and accountability to help them reach and maintain their goals. Certifications & Education:

To celebrate our One-Year Anniversary, we’re doing a community clothing swap over the next few weeks — and wrapping it up at our celebration!

Here’s how it works:
🎟 1 item donated = 1 ticket
🎟 1 ticket = 1 “new-to-you” item

Starting now, bring in your gently used workout gear or everyday pieces and we’ll add them to the rack in the gym.

Please bring:
✔️ Clean, gently used items
✔️ Quality pieces you’d happily pass to a friend
❌ No stained, ripped, or heavily worn clothing

🎉 ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND – SPECIAL GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉

We’re excited to announce one of our special guests for our one-year anniversary celebration: Ann Chisholm!

Ann is a Victoria-based gym owner, certified UESCA running coach, and strength coach with over a decade of experience helping runners of all levels build strength, stay healthy, and train for the long haul. She competes in ultra-distance races from 50–100 km, bringing real-world experience straight into the gym.

🏃‍♀️ Ann will be leading a Runner’s Strength Class designed to help runners train smarter, prevent injury, and feel stronger — even with a full, busy schedule. As a mom and business owner, Ann understands what realistic training actually looks like and how to make it work in real life.

It’s about giving your body what it needs to handle life.

When you eat regularly and get enough protein, carbs, and fats, your body is better at:
• regulating energy
• controlling cravings
• recovering from workouts
• managing stress hormones

A stressed body + under-fueled system is a recipe for burnout.
Food is part of your recovery, NOT something you have to earn.
