I needed to remind myself of this
this week.

There is a kind of exhaustion
that doesn’t come from the day.
Or the week.

It comes from everything
that kept staying.

Things I swallowed.
Situations I sustained.
Conversations I avoided.
Limits I didn’t set.

I kept enduring.
Adjusting.
Telling myself it was enough.

And it stayed.

In my body.
In my mind.
In the way I exist.

Until it became this weight
I can’t fully explain,
but feel all the time.

And the strangest part is,
on the outside,
everything seems to be working.

But inside,
I know it hasn’t felt light
for a long time.

And that’s when I realized
it wasn’t just exhaustion…

It was everything
I had been carrying
that was never mine.

The woman you are becoming
is already in the making.

She appears in the details,
in the choices you make every day,
in what you decide to keep
and what you learn to leave behind.

It’s not fast,
and it’s not perfect,
but it is consistent.

Some days you move forward,
others you simply breathe
and try again.

But you don’t stop,
because you know each phase
is part of the process.

And even without realizing it,
you are no longer the same person you used to be.
