Birchwood Circle of Care Our clinic offers Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Counselling for children and adults in Fort McMurray.

We are a team of professionals offering specialized services for children with Autism and other developmental disorders. Our team will assess for any developmental diagnosis, including Autism, ADHD and learning disability (psychoeducational assessment). We have been servicing Fort McMurray since 2018. We also service First Nations communities through Jordan’s Principle. We work as a team to service children with complex needs (Autism, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, etc.). We have recently expanded into a multidisciplinary clinic. 3 Speech-Language Pathologists 3 Speech-Language Assistant 2 Counselor 3 Occupational Therapists 1 Psychologist. We are open 6 days a week.

Our Social Respite Program provides respite for families of neurodiverse children aged 3-17yrs-old in our community.
As well as respite, the program offers opportunities for children to learn and practice crucial social skills that are needed to make and maintain long-term friendships.
