To the moms who are thriving, the moms who are exhausted, the moms who are doing their best through hard seasons, and the ones carrying more than anyone realizes, we see you.

Mother’s Day can bring joy, gratitude, grief, longing, love, or a mix of everything all at once. Wherever this day finds you, we hope you are met with kindness and care.

It’s Mental Health Week in Canada (May 4–10, 2026)

Mental health doesn’t always look like crisis. Sometimes it looks like exhaustion, overwhelm, irritability, or just feeling like you’re “not quite yourself.”

This week is a reminder that it’s okay to slow down, check in, and reach out for support.

At Stillwater Therapy, we believe care should feel human, accessible, and compassionate, because you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Today may feel like just another day for some, but for many in our Fort McMurray community, May 3rd carries a lot of weight.

Ten years ago, lives were suddenly uprooted. Even now, memories and emotions can resurface in ways that are unexpected.

However today shows up for you, whether it’s sadness, anxiety, gratitude, or something you can’t quite name, it’s valid. Take care of yourself in whatever way you need, and remember that support is always available.
