Stress is a normal part of life, but when it starts to feel overwhelming, it’s a sign to pause and take care of yourself.

Whether it’s work, relationships, or just the weight of the world, your feelings are valid.

Here are 5 Therapist-Approved Tips to Help You Manage Stress:

•breathe deeply – a few minutes of slow, deep breathing can calm your nervous system.

•set boundaries – it’s okay to say no to protect your energy.

•move your body – a short walk or stretch can reduce tension and improve mood.

•write It out – journaling helps you process thoughts and emotions.

•reach out – talking to someone you trust, or a therapist can help you feel less alone.

Stress is part of life, but suffering in silence doesn’t have to be. We’re here to help.

Our First Retreat at Stillwater Retreats Was a Huge Success!

We just wrapped up our very first retreat at the beautiful Stillwater Retreats l, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out! Our participants and facilitators worked their butts off, showing up fully and giving their all to the process. The energy, the breakthroughs, the connection and it was everything we hoped for and more.

From exclusive accommodations to thoughtfully prepared meals, every detail was taken care of so our group could focus fully on the experience. Stillwater proved to be the perfect setting for this kind of deep, transformative work.

Today, we honor the children who never came home and the Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.

As a therapy practice, we recognize the intergenerational trauma caused by colonial systems, and the ongoing impact this trauma has on Indigenous Peoples. Healing takes courage, truth, and time and we are committed to creating safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive spaces for all.

We encourage reflection, education, and action today and every day.
