The Gabriola Medical Clinic has announced that these two valued family physicians will be departing the practice later this year. Please join us in thanking them for all they’ve done for the community and wishing them the very best as they move on.

The Gabriola Medical Clinic has a plan to support existing patients in the interim while it works with the Gabriola Health Care Foundation to continue recruiting* new physicians, residents, locums and other health-care providers to our beautiful island. Please note that doctor shortages are not just a Gabriola issue — every community across Canada is affected by this nationwide challenge. The Foundation is working with the community to develop a strategic plan that enables our health-care and wellbeing providers to work at the top of their abilities while providing residents with multiple avenues to get the care and supports they need.
