The Gabriola Medical Clinic has announced that these two valued family physicians will be departing the practice later this year. Please join us in thanking them for all they’ve done for the community and wishing them the very best as they move on.

The Gabriola Medical Clinic has a plan to support existing patients in the interim while it works with the Gabriola Health Care Foundation to continue recruiting* new physicians, residents, locums and other health-care providers to our beautiful island. Update 7:30pm Sunday Dec 4th. There will be a warming station set up at the church on the corner of Church st and North road that will run tonight from 7pm to 10pm, and tomorrow from 10am to 10pm. If you need a ride GERTIE will take you to the warming center. To reach GERTIE call the Fire Department Duty officer at 250-755-9289 (cell) or if your landlines works you can call the main hall at 250-247-9677. Reminder that GVFD firehall will be staffed 24/7 for emergencies.

We offer a workplace built on a foundation of respect and positivity. We are dedicated to our community and value each other's strengths and contributions.

As a Medical Office Assistant you would greet patients, book appointments, answer a multi-line phone system, assist practitioners and so much more.

We are looking for an upbeat person who loves people. Someone that likes to work in a dynamic team based environment. This position is approximately 15-20 hours a week with a wage range of $18-$22 per hour based on experience. ****We will happily train the right person****
