2025 you outdid yourself and exceeded my expectations in so many ways when it comes to my journey as a doula. I’m forever grateful that so many of you trusted me in welcoming your babies this year! To my doula community thank you for showing up for me when I needed you and for the doulas that trusted me to show up for your clients when you couldn’t - I couldn’t be more honoured to be trusted with your clients.

In the most shocking moment of my life, saying yes to you was easy, as I’ve never felt so safe, calm, loved and chosen until I met you. The love you have for me is nothing I’ve ever felt before.

Roughly halfway there with my rainbow baby 🌈

From the very first moment I knew you existed, to being in the lab every 48 hours for first couple weeks, to the early scans of reassurance, to finding out my placenta was NOT anterior (thank the lord - it’s been so nice to feel him move since 16.5 weeks), watching how excited Elias is & how involved he wants to be already has been a dream come true.
Greg was able to feel baby for first time this past weekend and I’m hopeful Elias will be able to feel him soon too.
Fingers crossed he decides to go head down soon (although I know he still has plenty of time too).
The video of Elias at the end is long but so worth watching - he finds baby brother with the Doppler all on his own 😍
He is measuring a few days ahead and in the 57 %tile.

In November two first time mama’s welcomed these sweet baby boys both out of hospital. These boys proved that due dates mean nothing as they were spaced far apart but still came within 5 days of each other. The strength and confidence that these mama’s had filled the room and guided them through their journey to meet their babies.

October brought a slower month for me and thank goodness because this pregnancy is still kicking my butt. 🙄 This mama is an inspiration for any VBAC mama out there and true definition of birthing without fear. She never once doubted herself or her baby and sweet baby Willow joined us earth side in their cozy living room (which was also not the original plan also).
