Hello my dear fellow fish lovers! It’s been a trying end to 2021 and beginning for 2022. Like so many others, challenging times seem to be the norm. My take away - it sucks, but boy does it feel good to get back in the saddle again. What I love about all this chaos is that I know I’m stronger than ever before. Not only do I understand what it takes to be a caregiver for both parents after open heart surgery, but also to endure my entire family getting Covid along with the challenges of starting a new business. Blessings to this new day! ♥️✨

Chum salmon are found throughout the Pacific Rim, from Oregon to Alaska and as far afield as Japan and Korea. Chum are the poorest jumpers of the Pacific salmon world and waterfalls that do not impede any of the other species can often stop their upstream migration. Two types of chum are listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act! 😔

I laid my fish creations to rest some time ago. Just as I have begun my new career as a Property Manager, I get a sockeye order. No part of me can resist this process. The fish are swimming again….in small numbers. Blessings to Balance of work and play.

Okay, so I thought I would lay my fish to rest - it’s certainly been a fun and creative time in my life. I only just started my new career as a property manager and low and behold, an order comes in for a sockeye salmon. It’s a beautiful thing. Blessings to Balance! No part of me can resist the creative process. So, I’ll just put it out there - I’m willing to create, in small numbers, for those fishy people out there. Many thanks for keeping my fingers nimble. My creative self adores you!

Okay, so life can be challenging sometimes. I use the word challenging because the word itself seem more positive, surmountable and even inviting. I've been battling neck issues from an old accident and at present time nerve pain is prohibiting any sewing or artistic endeavors. Sad but wiser..........and definately hopeful towards a more healthy, stronger me.

Oooo, my fingers are itching to sew. Has been awhile and that ole' restless creative feeling is back. Now let see what's in my tickle trunk? Something blue, something with a hard shell that lives at the bottom of the ocean.....time to go for a swim.
