This time of year can feel heavy ❄️ — shorter days, colder weather, routines slipping a bit — so I just wanted to check in with everyone 🤍
We’re officially moving through week 5 and into month 2 of the challenge, and I’m really proud of the consistency and effort I’m seeing 💪✨ This phase is where habits start to matter more than motivation, and you’re all showing up in your own ways — that counts 👏

On that note, I’m also excited to share that I’m working on a new community class here in Renfrew 🏘️💙 It’ll focus on strength, movement, mobility, and feeling good in your body, in a way that’s welcoming and accessible for everyone 🙌

Days like today are a reminder that progress isn’t always loud or sweaty. Sometimes it’s quiet, cozy, and intentional.

Today’s win might look like:
☕ drinking enough water
🧘‍♀️ gentle movement or stretching
🧠 choosing a calmer mindset
😴 getting extra rest without guilt
🍽️ making a balanced choice when it’s easy to snack mindlessly

Your body wasn’t designed to stay still all day.

Sitting too long can affect your:
• Energy
• Posture

Once every hour, stand up and move for 1–2 minutes.

Hunger vs Habit:
“Not all hunger is physical.”

Not all hunger comes from your stomach.

Sometimes we eat because we’re bored.
Sometimes because we’re stressed.
Sometimes because it’s just “that time.”

And sometimes… we’re actually hungry.

✨ Learning the difference between hunger vs habit is a powerful skill in your wellness journey.

Real hunger may feel like:
• Low energy
• Stomach growling
• Difficulty focusing
• A true need for fuel

Habit hunger often looks like:
• Cravings without physical hunger
• Eating while distracted
• Snacking just because food is available

💡 Today’s gentle challenge:
Before you eat, pause for 10 seconds and ask:
👉 “Is this hunger… or is this habit?”

No judgment. No guilt. Just awareness.

💬 So many of my current clients have been asking about “drinking your calories”… so let’s talk about it!

Liquid calories are one of the most common hidden roadblocks in fat loss and energy balance.

Here’s the thing 👇
Liquid calories don’t make us feel full the same way food does — but they still count.

Drinks like:
🥤 Juice
🥤 Pop
🥤 Alcohol
🥤 Sweetened coffee & creamers
🥤 Fancy smoothies

…can quietly add hundreds of calories without you even realizing it.

This doesn’t mean you can never enjoy them — it just means awareness matters.

✨ Smarter swaps can make a huge difference:
✔️ Water or sparkling water
✔️ Herbal tea
✔️ Black coffee or light add-ins
✔️ Protein smoothies with less sugar (still can have high calories.

Remember — it’s not about restriction, it’s about balance, choices, and consistency.
