Paperplane started in the clinic.

Our CEO, Dr. Jean-Simon Fortin, is a physician who saw a real need in his practice: helping patients manage pain and anxiety during procedures without always relying on medication.

That question — what else can we offer patients? — is what led to the creation of Paperplane Therapeutics.

Today, our VR therapies are used by clinicians to support patients during care and make difficult moments a little easier.

On paper, a $1,181 pediatric case looks like a win.

A recent pilot study (178 children, presented at WDC 2024) showed:

Fearful kids: $1,181 per patient on average
Non-fearful kids: $263 per patient
