Hey Everyone!
Take time to read this post, it’s a little lengthy but contains some great info!

•No massage should be too painful! On a pain scale from 0-10 with zero being no pain and 10 being the worst, no technique should be above a 7 on the pain scale.

•You should always let your therapist know if you are uncomfortable! This is not just in regards to pressure but to anything! For example, if you need a break, if you need a pillow adjusted or even if you’ve had enough treatment on an area.

•If you are looking for more of a relaxation based massage be sure to let your therapist know so they can adjust their pressure and techniques accordingly.

•Specific goals for your massage are a good idea to have and to inform your massage therapist of. Big or small! Just note that massage is not magic and it’s important to have realistic goals based on your condition!
