What a beautiful day for the Teddy Bear Picnic and Teddy Bear Parade!

Thanks to everyone who came out, it was such a blast to see everyone’s stuffies while handing out FREE books for BESTs Summer Reading Tent. Be sure to check my calendars for the next date and location for an opportunity for another book!

A power outage isn’t going to stop us from having the BEST time 😉

Programs are still running as scheduled, so come and join me at Grande Cache Tourism & Interpretive Center this morning!

Tomorrow, Youth Connections and BEST are opening our program invite so families of all ages can join us for a couple hours for a hike around Sulphur Rim (meeting at Firemans Pit). You won’t even notice the lack of power.

Then Wednesday, when the powers back on, don’t forget to reach out to the Grande Cache Municipal Library to register for your FREE lunch for Thursday’s Teddy Bear Picnic! If you don’t want a lunch and just want to show up Thursday with your stuffies/teddy bears and join the celebration and mini parade, you’re 100% welcome to do that too!

Kick off the weekend of events with stick horse making at the Grande Cache Recreation Center! Youth can show off their skills and stick horses if they choose to participate in the planned Stick Horse Gymkhana in Central Park on Saturday afternoon!

Get ready to Giddy Up & let your youngsters join in some festival fun as they construct & compete in the first ever Stick Horse making contest.
