Yesterday. November 4th — marked 1 full year in business, and I could not be any more proud and grateful.
When I opened the doors to Tailored Massage Therapy & Rehabilitation, my goal was simple: to create a space where people could come to leave feeling better. Over this past year, I’ve realized that what truly drives me isn’t just the work itself — it’s seeing people’s bodies respond, heal, and move with less pain. There’s nothing that makes me happier, both as a therapist and as a person, than watching someone walk out feeling lighter, more comfortable, and more like themselves again.

To my incredible clients: thank you for trusting me with your care, for your loyalty, referrals, and kind words that have helped this business grow. To my family and friends — your encouragement, advice, and belief in me have meant everything.

This first year has been filled with growth, lessons, and so much gratitude, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead. Here’s to continuing to help my community feel their best — one treatment at a time.

Before February Ends—Let’s Talk About Myofascial Cupping!

At the start of this month, I introduced myofascial cupping using RockPods as a complementary treatment to manual therapy sessions, and I’ve been so happy with the results.

This decompressive technique mechanically lifts connective tissue, helping to reduce muscle tension, improve range of motion, and enhance recovery. Cupping has proven to also have calming effect on the nervous system, making it an excellent tool for managing both chronic and acute pain. Get to Know Your RMT

Hi everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about myself and how I came to pursue a career in registered massage therapy.

I grew up in Muskoka, surrounded by an entrepreneurial family who taught me the value of hard work and following your passions. It has always been my goal to stay in this incredible community and create something of my own. Being able to combine that dream with a career I love has been so rewarding.

Sports have always been a huge part of my life. I competed as a provincial-level gymnast, spent years skating and playing soccer, and now enjoy riding dirt bikes and being outside in my free time! Being a competitive athlete and encompassed by hardworking, loving family shaped the person I am today, teaching me discipline + work ethic, resilience + perseverance.

Like many athletes, I faced my fair share of injuries along the way. The process of therapy and rehabilitation wasn’t always easy, but it introduced me to some amazing professionals—RMTs, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and more—who made a lasting impact on me. The care and encouragement I received didn’t just help me recover; it inspired me. It was through those experiences that made me realize I wanted to be part of the process, helping others recover, rebuild, and thrive.

Now, as an RMT and the owner of Tailored Massage Therapy & Rehabilitation, I’m proud to provide care that empowers people to feel and move their best. Whether you’re an athlete, a weekend warrior, or simply looking for relief from the demands of daily life, my mission is to help you on your journey to betterment.

I’m also thrilled to share that I’ll be attending my first sports event this weekend at the Muskoka Limberettes Gymnastics Club. Being back in this environment feels like a full-circle moment, and I’m excited to connect with the community more in the future!

Today is a truly special day. It marks one month since the opening of Tailored Massage Therapy & Rehabilitation. As I reflect on this milestone, I am filled with immense gratitude for everyone who has supported and guided me to reach this point—you know who you are, and I cannot thank you enough.

To all the incredible individuals who have trusted me with your care over the past month, I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to work with you. My passion for what I do continues to grow, and I’m excited to see the positive progress we’ve already made together. I look forward to meeting more of you and continuing to do what I love.

In my 1st month:

- 64 patients arrived
- 16 pts / week average
- 38 new patients / 26 returning patients

What a crazier way to end it than a state of emergency, 5ft of snow and a 2 work snowdays!
