This weekend I attended the 2026 Swift Symposium with Dr. Arthur Swift — truly one of the most influential minds in aesthetic medicine. A full circle moment for me, because I’ve admired his work for years. To sit in that room surrounded by providers from across the world was equal parts inspiring and grounding.

Education like this changes the way you practice. It sharpens your eye, elevates your technique, and reminds you that aesthetic medicine should never be approached with a one-size-fits-all mindset. Every face is different. Every treatment should be intentional.

My growth as a provider could’ve stopped long ago… but why would it? My patients deserve the highest level of care possible, and that means continuing to invest in REAL education. Not trade shows. Not trends. True advanced learning from the people shaping this industry.

So instead of asking your injector how long they’ve been injecting… ask them when the last time they invested in education was.

I’m coming home with a stronger technical skill set, a deeper understanding of facial harmony, and even more passion for what I do. Becoming an aesthetic provider started with what I felt as a patient. Appointments that felt rushed, not fully understanding what was going on, and leaving without a real connection.

Over time, it shaped the kind of provider I wanted to be.

A gentle reminder to be a little kinder—to the world around you and the people in it. Take a moment to slow down, breathe it in, and maybe even stop to smell the roses. There’s so much beauty here if you let yourself notice it.
