What a different summer this has been. Last summer was filled with lots of travel, celebrations, excitement and fun. This summer has been very different.

On the first warm day in June our world was rocked by a person we never spoke too simply for the fact that we are a same s*x married couple. To say I have had waves of frustration and anger would be an understatement. Our summer has been hijacked by the ricochet actions of someone who can only be described as the boil on the ass of humanity. We haven’t been his only targets. It has sucked hard, this is the most authentic description of events I can muster.

In all of this something amazing has occurred, Karen and I have received an abundance of support. This hatred has been so overshadowed by love we are truly in awe and eternally grateful. We are surrounded by so many kind souls. All the messages to see how we are, the endorsements, letters and protectiveness has meant the world to us.

This evening I found myself with some extra time and in reflection of the last little while I have decided the way I want my precious time to change.

•This means more time for the people who love and show up for us
•Lazy mornings with my wife & Basenjis
•Healthy movement that honours my body
•Grown up slumber parties with my favs
•Planning Scotland 2026
•Happiness & Joy being the constant goal

Theme in the Reiki Room!

I feel like it will be years before we all realize the aftermath of Covid. Many relationships were forged out of loneliness, proximity and the sheer desire not to feel like one was stuck in purgatory lol.

Over the past week or so I have been seeing a repetition with clients who are experiencing heartache and loss of these lifelines that were forged that are no longer. Life returned in a more conventional sense and everyone shifted priorities.

Maybe we need to normalize mourning people who are still here, who have left our lives and to accept their role was merely for a season not a lifetime.

It was a screwy time, allow them grace, allow yourself grace and surrender to the know that the space they leave will be filled with something so much better.

Stop forcing things that are no longer, for anyone who needs this today take a deep breathe to bring in the light.

What a strange day. What a strange historical insane day to witness. There is nothing we can do about the subhuman who was sworn in today, this is the truth. What can you do? Check on each other, especially our American families and friends, our sisters and anyone who is other.

By request only I am going to open up extra evenings and weekend mornings for healing sessions by request. Thank you for supporting me and filling my life with magical sessions.

Remember: Love and magic will win. Today is just a day, this won’t go on forever.

I am so grateful this point in time right here and now.

Even though life has been busy af with work and a bounty of celebrations I feel like I have finally come up for air. My meditation was amazing this morning after an amazing healing session with a friend of mine last night. This is what is on the go in my life & mind now!

•Our glass room is being turned into a cute little covered deck for the doggos & us humans
•We are preparing to go to Europe in the fall- after 23 years together my wife and I are going together, this will be her first time!
•Preparations for our friends wedding ceremony- Karen is officiating and we are relishing in this union of two people who are the best fit
•Fun times with my sister- whenever we possibly can, no one makes me laugh like her
•Loving doggo life with K & L and all the beautiful organized chaos that brings
•Preparing to turn 50 along side so many of my friends! Ontario to Regina. How lucky are we?
•Creating a new vision for so many ideas! I am allowing myself to move slowly and intentionally.
•My baby cousins 30th Birthday…..not even sure how that happened! lol!
•At long last I am finally finishing my Queldon studies!!
•Being with all the peeps who bring us joy!

One of the most common messages I receive during healing sessions is to just surrender. Surrender to life's path, try not to manufacture and orchestrate every moment. This is a theme with many of my clients, allowing yourself to be present is a skill and often requires assistance. It wasn’t until I brought alternative healing into my life that I was able to surrender. Reiki taught me to meditate and quiet my mind which often sounds like a busy food court 🙇

Let me tell you the story of my amazing friends; Morgan and Kevin, who have been dear friends of ours for a very long time. Since we have known them they have dedicated their lives to the care, safety and protection of all animals 🐷🐾🐴🐄

Their farm, Foster Farm Animal Sanctuary (https://www.fosterfarmanimalsanctuary.ca/), is a labour of love and provides refuge for animals that haven’t had the kindest start in life. Donations help their important work to continue so for the month of May I will be offering 45 minute Intuitive Healing sessions either virtually or in person by donation to ! This will be a combined modality using a variety of healing techniques tailored to each individual.

Have you ever been curious about your past lives? Have you ever looked at a photo of yourself and wondered what you looked like before this life? Or the one before that?
