A sample of how I coach. It begins however to love yourself!

You notice your clothes buttoning a little easier, less bloat to your belly and a slimmer appearance to your face. Whether other people notice these changes really depends on several factors, including their relationship with you and your starting size. You usually notice that you've lost weight far sooner than other people.

It's very common to feel like you're not losing weight fast enough, despite faithfully sticking to your diet.

However, the number on the scale is only one measure of weight change. Weight is influenced by several things, including fluid fluctuations and how much food remains in your system.

In fact, weight can fluctuate by up to 4 lbs (1.8 kg) over the course of a day, depending on how much food and liquid you've consumed.

Also, increased estrogen levels and other hormonal changes in women can lead to greater water retention, which is reflected in scale weight.

If the number on the scale isn't moving, you may very well be losing fat mass but holding on to water. Fortunately, you can do several things to lose water weight. One of those things is drink more water with cranberry!

Additionally, if you've been working out, you may be gaining muscle and losing fat.

When this happens, your clothes may start to feel looser — especially around the waist — despite a stable scale weight.

***What I ask of you right now is to measure your waist with a tape measure and take a photo of yourself. Continuing to take monthly pictures of yourself can reveal you're actually losing fat, even if the scale number doesn't change much.

New research published in The FASEB Journal argues that vitamin D along with omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), are important for serotonin synthesis, release, and function in the brain. It also suggests that vitamin D and omega-3s could work together to improve cognitive function and social behavior with particular relevance to overall mental health.

In other words, all three nutrients working together may boost your mood and promote mental wellness.

The research shows one more instance of the scientific community recognizing how vital vitamin D, and EPA and DHA from fish oil are to keeping your brain healthy and happy – and how taking them together may support your brain function and mental well-being in a powerful way.

Clinical neuroscientist, board-certified psychiatrist, brain imaging expert and Amen Clinics founder Dr. Daniel G. Amen, has recommended for years that most everyone get up to 3 grams of fish oil per day and at least 2,000 IUs of vitamin D to boost brainpower, mood and other mental wellness.

I’ve committed!!!
But today for breakfast I made my shake with coffee and a cup of kale...even though it already contains 20g of plant-based protein, high fibre, active enzymes and probiotics (and of course very low glycemic)!

Health... it’s so important, do you agree???

As I lead a pretty full life and sometimes my mornings won’t allow me to have the healthy breakfast my body deserves. Still, this doesn’t mean I eat crap.

Instead I have a smoothie. This one is my “green smoothie” that I use a specific scientific based vegan protein that targets fat... allowing me to feel full with all the nutrients my body requires for its morning pick me up! I think you’d agree that’s pretty awesome!

Anyway, just because you’re busy, doesn’t mean you can’t eat well or have a nutritious meal.

On the edge of 2018 I know come tomorrow, January 1st you are going to commit to something! Who you commit with and what you commit to makes all the difference!!!
