Remember when Instagram was only pictures posted by your friends and family, of things and moments and memories that were special to them and you’d actually get to the end of the updates and IG would say “You’re all caught up for now!” and we all had way better mental health 🫠💀

I’ve been meaning to make this text into a post for a while now. 🦋💙

A mom sent it back in May, after about 5 months of (almost weekly) hangouts with her daughter. The changes from mentorship are usually slow and subtle, and sometimes families don’t notice right away, because they’re so close. So, this felt like a pretty big deal coming from a 12-year-old. 🤗

I’m happy to report that this mentee continues to grow and flourish in leaps and bounds since then! I’m so grateful that her and her family chose me to come along for the ride 🦋💙👯‍♀️
