Welcome to the Limitless Equine Body Work page! I’m glad that you are interested in starting you and your horse's journey to becoming limitless.
My name is McKenna and I am the owner of Limitless Equine Body Work. I have completed an equine massage certification program and will continue to expand my knowledge of massage by applying what I learn in my human massage therapy program to horses. In addition to the certification program, I have taken classes on equine craniosacral, acupressure and a master class on equine biomechanics and continue to study equine biomechanics and reconditioning as well as how equine behavior relates to physiology. ( Interested in a nebulizer treatment? Scroll to the bottom of the post!)
2024 Update: Additional training completed for rib cage rotations and myofascial release to relieve nerve entrapments.
Interested in an equine massage? Here are the details:
Each massage appointment will entail a 1 hour massage, individualized stretching and exercise recommendations, and body conformation and condition scoring. Each massage costs $70 inclusive within my service area.
My service area includes Guelph, Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo, Milton, Campbellville, Puslinch, and surrounding areas.
Located outside of my service area and still want a massage? I will travel outside of my service area (within reason) for an additional travel fee. A travel fee will be dependent on location. Travel fees may be reduced or waived if multiple horses are booked.
Not sure if your horse needs a massage? The benefits of massage seem to be LIMITLESS (if you’ll excuse the pun). Massage can:
- Reduce stress and anxiety
- Increase relaxation
- Reduce muscle pain and tension
- Improve circulation and healing
- Lower heart rate and blood pressure
- Improve immune function
All horses can benefit from a massage, especially if your horse is:
- Just being brought back into work
- Showing or competing
- Being ridden frequently or at a high intensity
- Recovering from an injury
- Coming off of stall rest
- Stressed or anxious (on the ground or under saddle)
- And the list goes on!
Book now and get the initial consultation free! Interested in saving big on massages? Ask about my referral program.
I will also be offering nebulizer treatments:
Nebulizer treatments can either be done with saline or silvaplex. Or book a dual treatment and get both done.
Nebulizer treatments can:
- Help relax the breathing muscles to improve airflow
- Helps loosen mucus
- Helps rid the lungs of bacteria, allergens, dust, and air pollutants
All of which help to decrease shortness of breath, coughing, and chest tightness.
A saline or silvaplex treatment will cost $40 or a dual treatment will cost $55 within my service area.
