8 years✨

We have been married for 8 years, and during that time we have traveled, moved, graduated, worked, travelled more, bought a home, bought a puppy, had baby #1, travelled some more, bought another house, completed our family with baby #2, and so on.

These are a few of our favourite memories over the last 8 years, and we cannot wait to see what’s next!

Exciting new chapter coming✨

We have been extra quiet on here over the last few months due to a few life changes - one being a pregnancy!

We shared our move with you guys, back in March, and have been prepping our new home as much as we can for the arrival of babe (coming this summer). Among all the chaos, we have been trying to be as present as possible with Mason, and embracing our family of 3 before babe comes.

It’s been a whirlwind of a pregnancy, a crazy transition with the move, and we are finally able to relax and embrace all that’s coming for us.

We are excited to share more in the coming months, and take you along a few upcoming trips and adventures!

Greece getaway✨

Back in Sept/Oct 2024, I had the pleasure of exploring a few Greek islands with my mum. We spent time wandering around Santorini, Milos, Paros, and Naxos. It was one of the most incredible trips and was filled with great food, insane views, and an intense amount of relaxation (which was so needed).

I will be sharing more from this trip over the next few weeks, as well as a life update from us as it has been a crazy 6 months since we were last on here!

Thanks for sticking around, and we can’t wait to start bringing you more fun Ontario content, and sharing more about our life!

Muskoka Autumns✨

If you’re looking for a few spots to catch the colours and a few activities to get you on the Autumn mood, head to Muskoka! You’ll find the drive, and all stops, to be exactly what you need them to be!

Here’s a few of our favourite spots:
• Hardy Lake Provincial Park - complete the 8.9km loop trail for a great view of the entire lake or chose one of the shorter trails to experience a part of the park
• - a fun fall activity is heading to the winery to take part in the cranberry experience
• Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail - hike up this easy to navigate trail for a stunning view of Lake Muskoka and the surrounding colourful trees

Hazy trip through Mount Tremblant✨

The lush and magnificent Parc national du Mont-Tremblant blew us away this summer. We were graced with beautiful views, incredible forests, and refreshing lakes.

Lakes of Ontario✨

As we explore more and more of Ontario, we are exposed to a growing number of beautiful lakes in and around the province!

A list of our favourites so far:

1️⃣ Lake Nipissing (image 1-2) - located in this large body of water gives you ocean vibes and magical sunsets

2️⃣ Mazinaw Lake (image 3-4) - this mighty deep lake is home to and holds an abundance of history. The view of the cliffs and on top of the cliffs are magical

3️⃣ Lake Huron (image 5) -another lake with ocean vibes, this lake is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Ontario and provides you with lovely sunsets on calm and stormy days

4️⃣ Lake Ontario (image 6-7) - this famous Great Lake is beautiful from every direction and city it touches

5️⃣ Hardy Lake (image 8-9) - located in a , you will find a mix of trails with varying difficulties, and beautiful views of the untouched lake

Slow mornings✨

We paddled out to an island to watch the sunrise and to our surprise, it ended up being the perfect morning. There was no one else awake, except the loons, so we took a dip and enjoyed the view.

If you have never experienced something like this, we highly recommend you do - it’s an experience you won’t regret!

I’m Shelby and Brian is my husband!

I started this account ages ago as a solo travel account and very quickly into our relationship turned it into our travel account where we shared pictures from our travels. After some time of posting, I started getting questions about our travels, as well as requests for tips, tricks, and recommendations so… I turned the page into what it is now: a resource for people to use for adventures and travel throughout Ontario, as well as the odd trip elsewhere (we still love travelling outside of our province).

Ontario sunrises✨

With the warmer months approaching, it’s time to get outside and watch the sunrise! Although the days are getting by longer and the sunrises earlier, it’s worth the wake up.

Our challenge to you: plan to watch the sunrise at least once a month. Whether you’re at a cottage, on your way to work, or in the comfort of your own home, wake up a few minutes early and watch the sky turn all types of colours as the day begins.
