Nutrient Density!!

What is nutrient density?
Nutrient dense foods contain vitamins, minerals, complex carbohydrates, lean protein, and healthy fats.

Too many times we eat meals that are high in calories and low in nutrient density, but what does that leave us with? A lack of energy rather than a productive and fulfilled day.

Nutrient dense foods not only provide energy, but also provides the necessary antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other essential nutrients for optimal body functioning. It also increases our metabolism and stimulates the body to effectively burn excess fat and give our bodies the energy we need to have a successful day!

Is your motivation getting in the way of putting your health and fitness first?

Goal setting is SO important for success and is the key to beginning your fitness journey!

First break down your goals into short term and long term goals. Make sure they’re specific and measurable!
You’re way more likely to succeed if you have a plan of action or a training plan.

Put a time limit on these goals. Are they weeks? Months? What does your body look like and how do you need to feel in 6 months in order to say “wow I am SO happy with how things are progressing?”

Lastly these goals need to be MEANINGFUL! Make sure you’re doing this for YOU
