✨ Exciting news for families in Antigonish! ✨
Affinity Specialized Developmental Group (ASD Group) is thrilled to now have Melissa, a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), based in Antigonish. With over 20 years of experience, Melissa supports children (ages 0–12) and their families using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) — an evidence-based approach that helps build skills in communication, socialization, motor development, toilet training, and daily living. She also works with families to reduce behaviours that may interfere with learning or safety, creating fun, meaningful learning opportunities.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) affects people across all communities and is more common than many realize—impacting about 4% of Canadians. Yet, it often goes unrecognized and misunderstood. Raising awareness is key to breaking down stigma, promoting understanding, and making sure children, teens, and families living with FASD get the support they need.
