Hi everyone! iCAN is a program run by medical students at McMaster in partnership with Pathways to Education, aiming to make healthcare career mentorship more accessible to youth from low-income communities. We are currently recruiting undergraduate students in health-science related programs to be matched 1 on 1 with high school students from low-income communities, and serve as mentors for the duration of the school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to develop your leadership skills and reduce socioeconomic barriers to entering healthcare professions. Feel free to reach out to Praveen on Facebook or email (praveen.sritharan@medportal.ca) with any questions.
