When I am asked “Why Reiki?”

The answer is simple yet quite complex. The word is pronounced “Ray-Key”. The word REI means “universal”, and KI means the “Life Force” or “Energy”. Put these together and they represent the concept of “Universal Life Force Energy”

Reiki flows through everything that is alive. When we are tired we often say, “I have no energy left, I’m worn out.” This of course, is not exactly true. Our bodies and the entire universe are made up of energy.

As a Reiki practitioner I have been attuned to Universal Life Force Energy and a channel has been opened permitting the energy to flow through me into the person I am offering the energy to.

Soulful Blessings Reiki session last an hour or more, participants are fully clothed comfortably laying on a massage table. During the session I will hold my hands slightly above or on a participant allowing the energy to flow into the participant’s body. Most people notice a warmth flowing from my hands, that is the healing energy being passed on to you. It is common to experience a deep sense of relaxation while you feel the energy assisting the body in restoring the balances of energy in the physical body. After a session you may notice some relief from the problems that you came into the studio with. Multiple sessions may be considered to aid in you the continual energy healing process.
