As we head into fall, I’m shifting into more consistent hours:

🍂 Saturdays: 10–3
🍂 Tuesday evenings: 5–8
(Available outside these times by request)

I want to say a heartfelt thank you for your patience and support this summer! With my husband’s changing work schedule and being a one-woman business, my hours were a little chaotic. Family always comes first for me, and I’m so grateful to everyone who understood and still came in for services. 💛

At the beginning of every facial, you will be given this to fill out. You choose your music, scent, and massage/tools. You can have the same facial every time, OR You can have a brand new experience every time! The choice is yours!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a real update, and I’m finally ready to share a peek at what’s changed—and what’s coming.

As many of you know, I’ve poured my heart into my little apothecary. In March of this year, I launched Blackbird Beauty Bar, returning to my roots as an esthetician in Hanna, AB. It’s been a beautiful homecoming to hands-on work with clients, and it’s just the next step in a vision I’ve held for Blackbird for a long time.

Tallow was always just the beginning. Now, I’m following the next nudge—and building something deeper, and even more aligned with my overall goals for Blackbird.

With that in mind, I’ll likely be retiring from markets. I did one season and met so many amazing people, but it was a lot for my little family. As much as I love making products, they’re no longer the center of my business. Don’t worry—tallow isn’t going anywhere! You’ll still be able to shop online or visit me in person at the studio.
