We celebrated spring equinox with a beautiful fire ceremony. It’s so clear to me that ceremony is so important to bring people together to create magic and change. It helps us to become truly present. People are so keen to come together and take part in a fire ceremony, because we all feel the power of it. February 4th is the solar new year. It is the date to shift the feng shui placement of everything for the coming year. I always have a saltwater cure in my healing treatment room. It is known to absorb and neutralize heavy energies, which allows for the space to remain in a more harmonious state. You will see in my picture how well it works. The jar on the left is encrusted with salt all over the outside. My understanding is that the amount of salt on the outside depends on how much heavy energy it absorbs. The jar on the right is how a fresh cure looks once you prepare it, with only coarse sea salt, water, and six Chinese coins. Why don’t you experiment, give it a try and see if you feel a difference.

My husband doesn’t really understand what I do, but he supports me unconditionally. Fire ceremonies aren’t his things but he knows it’s mine. No questions asked, when I tell him I will be hosting a fire ceremony, he kicks into action. Today he had 2 feet of snow cleared from around the fire pit, arranged the chairs and started the fire. I am so grateful for his limitless support.
We both agree we’re blessed to have each other. Life is good….. and the fire ceremony was magical!
