Construction Update!

From studs and scaffolding to a space for connection, learning, and nourishment.

Have a behind-the-scenes look at our future demonstration kitchen at Foundry Kamloops! What it looks like now, and what it will become.

Soon, this space will host cooking programs, skill-building sessions, and opportunities for youth to connect, learn, and build confidence in a welcoming environment.

Every wall going up brings us closer to opening a centre where young people can access health, wellness, and social supports—all in one place.

We’re now within $800,000 of our Capital Campaign goal. Your support is helping turn construction zones into spaces of care, connection, and belonging.

Thank You, Hey Neighbour Coffee Roasters!

A big thank you to Hey Neighbour Coffee Roasters for their generous donation to the Foundry Kamloops Capital Campaign.

Community support like this is what brings projects like Foundry to life. When local businesses step up, it shows what’s possible when a community comes together to support the health and wellbeing of young people.

Because of partners like Hey Neighbour, we’re getting closer to opening a welcoming space where youth aged 12–24 and their caregivers can access mental health care, physical health services, peer support, and more — all under one roof.

Thank you for being part of the community effort to make Foundry Kamloops a reality!

Wellness Wednesday!

This week’s tip: Celebrate the small wins!

Not every success has to be big to matter. Getting out of bed on a tough day, finishing an assignment, reaching out to a friend—these are all wins worth recognizing.

Taking a moment to acknowledge small progress can boost your mood, build confidence, and help you stay motivated over time.

Be kind to yourself. Progress is progress.

We’re so close to the finish line. Our capital campaign is now within $800,000 of our goal, and community support is helping make this vision a reality.

Construction Update!

This space may not look warm and inviting yet… but soon it will become the heart of Foundry Kamloops.

Our Fireside Lounge is being designed as a warm, welcoming space where young people can relax, wait for their appointment, connect, and feel a sense of belonging when they walk through our doors. In this reel, you’ll see what the space looks like now—and what it will become once construction is complete!

Every step of progress brings us closer to opening a centre where youth aged 12–24 and their caregivers can access mental health care, physical health services, peer support, and more.

We’re so close to the finish line. Our capital campaign is now within $800,000 of our goal, and community support is helping make this vision a reality.

A huge thank you to the Sa-Hali GSA for their incredible generosity. This year, GSA members organized a Purdy’s Chocolate fundraiser and chose to donate half of the proceeds to Foundry BC — raising an amazing $503.74 in support of our new Foundry centre.

Your leadership, kindness, and commitment to supporting youth wellness in our community truly inspire us. Every dollar raised helps bring us closer to opening a welcoming space where young people can access mental health care, primary care, peer support, and social services — all in one place.

Thank you for making a difference!

Foundry Kamloops Construction Update!

Big things are taking shape at our future Foundry Kamloops site! Today, we’re giving you a look at one of the future exam rooms at our centre — a space where youth will be able to access physical health checkups and care once the centre opens.

Right now, it’s still under construction, but it won’t be long before this Foundry centre becomes a welcoming place where young people can receive the support they need, all under one roof.

We’re getting closer every day — and we’re also getting close to our fundraising goal. Our capital campaign is now within $800,000 of the finish line!

If you’d like to help bring Foundry Kamloops to life and support youth aged 12–24 and their caregivers, please consider making a donation. Every contribution helps us create a space where young people can access health, wellness, and social supports in one place.

International Women’s Day has its roots in the fight for equality and continues to be a day of reflection, celebration, and action. Today, we honour the contributions of women past and present and recognize that supporting gender equity is an ongoing commitment. One that we can see in how we learn, support, and show up for one another.

Small actions can create meaningful change.

Tania McCartney brings warmth and clarity to her message as a Parent Advisor with Foundry Kamloops and a social services sector partner. She speaks about the role of Foundry Kamloops in reducing stigma, increasing access, and creating a welcoming, one-stop space where young people can take that critical first step toward help and healing.

“We’re showing youth that it’s okay to ask for help—and that Foundry Kamloops will be there when they do.”

We’re less than $1 million away from opening the doors! Your donation today helps create a place where youth are met with compassion, connection, and community.

Wellness Wednesday Tip!

This week, Jarrett is back with another simple but powerful tip about meditation.

Taking just a few minutes each day to pause, breathe, and reset can help reduce stress, improve focus, and support your overall mental wellbeing. You don’t need a perfect space or a long routine — even a short, guided meditation or a few intentional breaths can make a difference.

Small habits. Big impact.

Want to support youth wellness in our community?
Foundry Kamloops is currently under construction, and we’re now within $800,000 of our Capital Campaign goal. Your donation helps create a welcoming space where young people can access mental health care, primary care, and social supports — all in one place.
