It’s me, hi 👋

It’s been a while since I’ve shown up here - and honestly, it’s for good reasons.

After pouring my heart into building my health coaching business for over a year, I found myself burning out on social media. I was starting and ending my days in other people’s lives… and missing out on fully living mine.

And the truth is: I really love my life.

Over the past few months, my partner and I bought our first home (!!), I’ve been teaching yoga, working at a great clinic here in town, diving into hobbies like mountain biking and softball, and meeting new friends. I’ve felt more grounded, more present, and more me.

This time offline has been deeply needed - and I’m going to continue protecting that space.

With that comes a natural pause from actively running my business. But the work I’ve done - and the encouragement from peers and clients - led me somewhere I’m so excited about:

I’m starting my Master of Counselling this Fall!!!

It feels like the most aligned next step. One that reflects the heart of what I’ve always cared about: helping people feel more connected to themselves, in a world that often pulls us away.

This new chapter also supports the kind of flexible, values-led life I want to build - one centered on care for myself, my partner, my family, and my friends.

Thanks for sticking around. I might not post often, but I’m still here - evolving, learning, and cheering y’all on in the background!

Diet and hustle culture don’t thrive on your well-being—they thrive on your self-criticism.

They tell you you’re not doing enough, not eating “right,” not working hard enough, not fit or productive or disciplined enough. And when you fall short of their impossible standards, what do they sell you? More rules, more fixes, more burnout.

But what if the antidote isn’t more control… but more compassion?

Self-compassion isn’t just being soft on yourself—it’s the tool that helps you keep going, even when things get hard. It allows you to take care of yourself because you deserve it, not because you feel broken.

🤍 It’s what helps you rest without guilt.
🤍 Eat without shame.
🤍 Move with joy—not punishment.
🤍 And let go of rules that no longer serve you.

This is how we start building a version of well-being that’s actually sustainable. One rooted in kindness, not control.

Save this post next time the inner critic gets loud. You are already enough. I promise.

So many of us have been taught that eating well means following strict rules, tracking every bite, or earning our food.

But what if eating was less about control — and more about connection?

Connection to your body.

Connection to your values.

Connection to the joy and nourishment of a meal.

This quote is from my Mindful Eating Guide — given to participants in my group program.

Whether you’re ready to ditch diet culture or just want to bring more ease and presence to your meals, this guide is your gentle invitation to slow down and listen in.

DM me “GUIDE” if you’re ready to reconnect with your body and I’ll send over the guide!

If you only looked at Instagram, you’d think health is all about…

🥗 Kale salads
🏋️‍♀️ Gym selfies
🔢 Macro tracking

But real health is about so much more than just food and movement.

✅ Getting enough rest so you’re not running on adrenaline and caffeine.
✅ Connecting with others so you feel supported.
✅ Spending time outside so you feel grounded.
✅ Doing hobbies just for fun—because not everything has to be productive.
✅ Practicing self-compassion so you’re not at war with yourself.

Because health isn’t about perfection—it’s about feeling at peace with your life and in your body.

Restriction doesn’t lead to control—it leads to reactive eating. Your body interprets deprivation as a threat, pushing you to seek food, often in a way that feels chaotic.

This isn’t a lack of willpower—it’s survival.

Breaking free starts with understanding this cycle and learning to nourish yourself without guilt or scarcity.

If this resonates, you don’t have to figure it out alone. DM me if you want support in healing your relationship with food. 🤍

Read that again.

We live in a world that profits from our insecurities, teaching us to shrink, fix, and fight against our own bodies. But what if the problem was never you? What if the real issue is the system that made you believe you weren’t enough?

Your body is not broken. It does not need to be changed to be worthy. It’s time to unlearn the messages that taught us otherwise. 🤍

Have you read The Body Is Not an Apology by Sonya Renee Taylor? It’s a must-read for anyone on the journey of self-acceptance.

If you wouldn’t say it to a friend, why say it to yourself?

So many of us have an inner voice that’s way too critical—but that’s diet culture talking, not truth. The way you speak to yourself matters. Your thoughts are shaped by years of external messaging, but you have the power to challenge them.

With all this talk about love, what if we focused on speaking to ourselves with the same kindness and compassion we give to others?

Which one of these reframes hit home for you? Let me know in the comments!

You wouldn’t judge an oak tree for not looking like a maple or pine. Each tree grows in its own way, shaped by its roots, environment, and nature’s wisdom. Your body is no different.

An acorn contains everything it needs to become a mighty oak—it doesn’t need to shrink or change to be worthy. Your body, too, holds deep wisdom. It carries you through life, adapts, heals, and deserves care and respect exactly as it is.

Let’s honor bodies the way we honor nature—without comparison, just appreciation.
