Vitamin C is inversely related to body mass.

What does this mean?? 🤔

It means that individuals who do NOT have adequate daily vitamin C may be more RESISTANT to losing fat. 😱

So get your oranges, limes , grapefruit, and other citrus fruits in you 🍋 to help you reach your weight loss goals!

Yep, that’s right!

Just 20 minutes in a 104F hot tub 🛀 4x/week gives the same cardiovascular benefits as doing moderate-intense cardio workouts!

Say Wha?! 🤯

The sustained increased heart rate and blood pressure caused from the heat stress while in the hot tub works out our heart!

So, can you jump in the tub instead of doing a cardio workout 🏃‍♀️?

…well no. If you are picking between cardio exercise and hot tub.. pick exercise. If it’s hot tub or nothing… pick hot tub!

Don’t have a hot tub? Try a hot sauna or hot bath instead!

A great way to motivate yourself is by rewarding 🎁 yourself when you achieve a set goal. 🎉

Example:
Goal: Exercise 🏋️‍♀️ for 30 minutes 2x/ week for one month
Reward: New pair of shoes 👠 or a massage 💆

Give it a try! You'll feel great physically and the mental boost from the reward will be SO worth it!

“Here’s a different transformation post for you today. This image shows a 250 lb woman on the left and a 120 lb woman on the right. We can often see weight gain from the outside, but we usually don’t see what it's doing on the inside. Look at the fat surrounding the organs in the woman on the left. Do you also see the fat around her heart ♥️ and around her?🧠 A little scary, isn't it? Look at the compression around the stomach and internal organs. Do you think that would have any impact on GERD and indigestion? Look at the compressed knee joints. Do you think those joints ache a little more than they should?

I want to be CLEAR... losing weight isn't just about your image but also about your health, how your ❤️ functions, how your 🧠 functions, how you feel and how your body functions. This isn’t about being skinny there are unhealthy skinny people out there as well. The goal is to have a better quality of life and longevity. Do it for yourself, your family, do it to extend your life.... I truly care about why you do it ...but I want you to find a reason to do it and JUST DO IT!!! Make a decision and then go for it. Let’s be the best version of ourselves inside and out!”

We should all try to do "Dinner and Done" (Don't eat after dinner) but sometimes it's so hard!
This is one of my bad habits FOR SURE! 😅

Try one of these healthier alternatives next time you find yourself late night looking in the fridge:
- 1-2 frozen black cherries
- 1-2 squares of 70%+ dark chocolate 🍫
- Nutritious shake (Vega or Shakeology) 🥤
