START HERE | Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you found my page. For nearly a decade, I have been offering cosmetic injections and currently see patients across several clinics in Kamloops, Kelowna, Lake Country, and Vernon, BC. Here's what you should know before booking your first cosmetic injection appointment with me:

• Not everyone needs filler, botox, or any other cosmetic injections, but if it’s something you’re considering, it should always be an informed choice.
• The cosmetic injection side of my practice includes neuromodulators (Dysport, Botox, Nucieva), dermal filler, and Sculptra.
• Therapeutic botox is also one of my offerings for concerns such as bruxism or migraines.
• A natural approach is at the core of everything I do, and I’m not afraid to say no when something isn’t the right fit.

FERTILITY FACTORS | Chronic stress keeps cortisol and adrenaline high, which can disrupt the hypothalamic‑pituitary‑gonadal (HPG) axis that governs reproduction. Elevated stress hormones can suppress GnRH, LH and FSH, leading to irregular ovulation or low progesterone, and they’ve been linked to reduced testosterone and s***m quality in men. When stress lingers, the body prioritizes survival over reproduction, affecting hormone release, shortening the luteal phase and even delaying ovulation. Incorporating stress‑reducing practices, such as gentle movement and sufficient sleep, can restore balance to your nervous system and help your reproductive system function optimally. I understand that this is much, much, much easier said than done when you already have a toddler, work deadlines and a never‑ending list of errands. LIP FILLER: WHAT TO EXPECT | If you’ve never had lip filler before, one thing that may surprise you is that I’ll sometimes gently massage the filler into place after injecting. This is intentional—it helps evenly distribute the product, soften small areas of firmness, and refine symmetry in real time.That said, please don’t do this at home! Avoid touching or massaging your lips for the first 24–48 hours (unless advised otherwise.) As for the treatment itself, lip injections are performed using either a fine-gauge needle or a blunt-tipped cannula, depending on your individualized treatment plan. You may feel mild pressure, a slight pinch, or some stinging at the injection sites, but a numbing agent is used to keep you comfortable. Right after treatment, it’s completely normal for the lips to feel a bit uneven or firm. This is a combination of product and swelling, and it typically settles over the next one to two weeks. "MY BOTOX DOESN'T LAST" | This is one of the intersections of both sides of my practice: cosmetic injections and Naturopathic Medicine. Neuromodulators don’t wear off the same way for everyone. Your nervous system, stress levels, inflammation, metabolism and overall health all influence how long your results last. I can treat two patients the exact same number of units and neuromodulator brand, but they'll experience botox wearing off in completely different ways. That doesn’t mean anything went wrong; it means your biology is different. That said, there are ways we can support better longevity. HALF A SYRINGE, FULL STRATEGY | For this patient's beautiful lips we used a half syringe (0.6 ml) of Revanesse® Kiss. A half syringe of lip filler isn’t divided evenly or placed the same way every time. Depending on an individual's anatomy and goals, that half syringe may be used to:
• define the border
• support the cupid’s bow
• add subtle central volume
• refine symmetry
• mask a scar or imperfection
For this patient, her natural lip shape is simply beautiful; we just used a half syringe to create better balance between the upper and lower lips, refine her cupid’s bow, and enhance overall hydration.

Skip heavy workouts or excess heat for the first day, stay upright for a few hours, and avoid pressure on the area. PATIENT TRANSFORMATION | Perioral rejuvenation focuses on the area around the mouth; perioral lines are the vertical lines that form around the mouth, most commonly above the upper lip. They can also extend slightly below the lower lip or radiate outward from the lip border. They’re incredibly common and not limited to smokers. For this patient, we opted for one syringe (1.2 ml), placed strategically to soften lines and create a smoother transition around the mouth. “My botox just doesn’t last.”
One of the most important things to understand about neuromodulators is that results are not identical from patient to patient—even with the same injector and same neuromodulator formula. It’s influenced by nervous system regulation, inflammation levels, stress hormones, recovery patterns, metabolic rate, and overall health. Duration isn’t determined by dosage alone and this where both sides of my practice intersect. Two people can receive the same treatment and have different timelines, not because something went wrong, but because biology varies.
